Steel wire ropes are used in various sectors of the economy. Due to their different designs, they are versatile and are divided into different types. Steel wire ropes with a 6x19 construction are characterized by high flexibility and high load capacity. The wires are thinner than in ropes with a 6x7 construction, so the rope is more flexible. These ropes are often used in fishing (towing ropes) and also serve as tensioning and pulling/stay cables (masts, antennas).
MATERIAL:
- C7 steel (Mn + Si), hot-dip galvanized
- EN 12385-4
CONSTRUCTION:
- Three-layer 6x19 + FC strand construction
- Soft rope with high flexibility and high load capacity
- Rope structure: six-strand, i.e. nineteen wires of the same diameter in each strand, in three layers (1 + 6 + 12); FC (fiber core) – a fiber core that makes the rope more flexible
